Secretarial Paralegal
Role, Purpose & Responsibility Summary
The purpose of this role is to provide company secretarial support to the firm’s clients.
Job Description
-
Assist and support in the day-to-day running and administration of client matters.
-
Assisting with Board Meetings – Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring proper documentation.
-
Regulatory Compliance – Helping the firm adhere to legal and corporate governance requirements.
-
Maintaining company records – Organizing statutory registers, filing returns, and updating corporate documents for clients.
-
Liaising with Stakeholders – Communicating with shareholders, regulatory bodies, and legal teams.
-
Supporting partners – Assisting in drafting resolutions, contracts, and policies.
-
Preparing regular status reports and updates.
-
Attending internal meetings and calls with partners when required.

Assist partners in administrative matters when called upon.
Qualifications
-
Undertaken and completed company secretarial course (CPS);
-
1 – 2 years’ relevant work experience.

Demonstrable skill and experience in paralegal support.
-
Good grasp and understanding of legal concepts.
-
Demonstrable drafting and legal writing proficiency.
-
Diploma in Law (Paralegal) Studies programme from a reputable and accredited institution will be an added advantage.

Additional relevant qualification will be an added advantage.
